What to Photograph for a Same-Day Number
Any phone camera works, and nothing needs to be staged. What makes a quote firm instead of a ballpark is seeing the surface and its worst spot:
- Driveway or patio: one shot from the garage door looking toward the street, plus a close-up of the worst of it — the oil drips, the rust track, or the white sprinkler crust along the edges. Condition moves a concrete quote more than square footage does.
- House wash: two walls from the sidewalk and one of the trouble spot — the dinge line on light stucco, black striping down the gutter faces, or the web buildup under the eaves.
- Tile roof: from across the street, one photo per slope you can see. The black streaks on north-facing slopes are what we're pricing. Nobody needs to climb anything — including us, until treatment day.
- Commercial or HOA common area: the address and a list of surfaces is enough to start; larger scopes get a free walk-through and a written flat-rate proposal.
